A hike from Fairy Meadows to Bayal Camp takes about two hours in one direction at 3500 meters. Typically, trekking in Fairy Meadows requires two hours for a one-way trip. It’s not complicated but is more manageable than many other trails. Initially, the path is flat and hilly as it winds through the Fairy Meadows forest, offering vistas of Nanga Parbat and Raikot Glacier.
The trail runs for approximately an hour through the jungle on flat land, crossing several streams until you arrive at a clearing where the village appears framed by Nanga Parbat. Bayal Camp greets you upon your arrival. The viewpoint, situated at 3667 meters, provides a close view of Raikot Glacier and Nanga Parbat, allowing you to enjoy a coffee or continue your trek for 30 minutes. Additionally, notable attractions include Raikot Bridge, Tattu Village, Bayal Camp, and the infamous Nanga Parbat, Killer Mountain.
