The Swat Motorway makes traveling easier for tourists. Swat is about 247 kilometers (153 miles) from Islamabad. The new Swat Expressway with tunnels has shortened the journey to about 3 hours from Islamabad.

To visit Mahudand Lake from Kalam Valley, rent a jeep for off-road driving. The cost is between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 12,000 daily. Kalam Bazar is famous for its handicraft shops. You can find various tribal jewelry, shawls, embroidered jackets, and handmade local products. The bazaar also offers unique home décor and ethnic clothing.

In Kalam Valley, the main mobile providers are Telenor and Zong.

At Malam Jabba Top, you can ski and snowboard on 1 km of slopes. There is one chair lift for visitors. The elevation for winter sports is between 2,469 and 2,670 meters. You can enjoy skiing and ice skating from mid-January to the end of February.

Many restaurants at Malam Jabba Top serve delicious food. Gloria Jeans, Lazeez Restaurant, and a Chinese Restaurant offer pizza, burgers, fast food, and traditional dishes for delivery.

Standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 pm, and check-out time is 10:00 am.

Meals other than those specified are an exclusion from the package.

ACs don’t work in Hilly Areas as the climate is moderate.

The monument entry fee and camera charges are not included in the package.

Children above 8 years of age will be considered adults only. There are no charges for children below 5 years of age.

All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any insurance cover is not a part of the package.

Govt. Approved ID is mandatory for each guest when booking and upon arrival. 

All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details when booking and upon arrival.

The prices may vary based on the season and the number of travelers traveling per day in a specific region, as there is limited hotel availability in hilly areas.

Any deviation from the Vehicle’s planned route at the customer’s request during the tour will be chargeable per km basis.

Any breakage or damage of items at the hotels/resorts/camps/vehicles will be charged at actuals.

The package cost will not accommodate personal expenses like portage, tips, laundry, mineral water, etc.

TripMaker reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any disturbances (i.e., severe weather conditions, political unrest or others).

Any rescheduling/rearrangement of a package due to circumstances beyond TripMaker’s control might invite additional hotel charges and/or vehicle charges.

If a traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, the traveler will bear all the expenses from that point onwards. Neither the operator nor TripMaker will be responsible for such decisions or refunds.
